    Baba is Taxes?

The creator of Baba Is You, a brilliantly creative puzzler, has released a free tax-themed spinoff, Baba Files Taxes, on itch.io (though it’s only available for Windows). Our friends at Polygon say you can beat the game in about 10 minutes.

I don’t have a Windows machine so can’t vouch for it myself, but it looks delightful. Also, I guess I should start thinking about tax season.

Don’t want to be an animal on your Zoom call? Be a human instead.

Zoom is adding human avatars to Zoom calls, which could be a good option if you don’t want to show up to your next meeting as a dog. You can see what the human avatars look like in the image below, though I have to say I prefer the animal avatars.

The company is also adding threaded messages in chat, which is something I hope every video chat client steals immediately. You can read about all the new features on Zoom’s blog.

A screenshot of Zoom’s new human avatars.
The new avatars are available in beta.
