Bing Chat and Bing Image Creator users got access to OpenAI’s new DALL-E 3 model this week, and the initial results for people playing around with the AI image generator have been...interesting. DALL-E 3 promises “significantly more nuance and detail” compared to DALL-E 2, and certainly took some liberties with Clippy’s design in generating this nightmare fuel.

Following similar actions in France and Italy, England’s Department for Education is preparing new guidance to ban phones in school — even outside of lessons — to improve children’s focus and help tackle bullying and disruptive behavior.
The department previously said in February 2022 that national rules were unnecessary because most schools were already taking action. Now, the government says the guidance could be written into law if it’s ignored.
