    Fake “ChatGPT” apps are cashing in on AI hype.

    Developers trying to cash in on OpenAI’s free-to-use chatbot have inundated the iOS App Store and Google Play Store with fake ChatGPT apps, some of which charge a premium for non-existent features.

    One example called “ChatGPT Chat GPT AI With GPT-3” (and seen via TechCrunch) has managed to rank highly in multiple charts within the productivity category. OpenAI hasn’t released an official app for ChatGPT.

    Samsung makes it easy to set up Matter devices.

    Version 11.1.08.07 of Samsung’s Nearby Device Scanning adds a new ‘Matter EasyPair’ feature (seen via Sammobile), which automatically alerts Galaxy users to nearby Matter-compatible devices for a speedier connection, similar to Fast Pair on Android.

    The update has started rolling out to some users via the Galaxy Store.
