Tech services are failing to take nudify AI tools offline.

A report about how much money these websites are making found that 62 of the 85 websites it examined had hosting or content delivery services provided by Amazon and Cloudflare. Google’s sign-on system was also used on 54 of the websites, alongside several other services and payment systems provided by mainstream tech companies.

“They should have ceased providing any and all services to AI nudifiers when it was clear that their only use case was sexual harassment,” said Indicator co-founder Alexios Mantzarlis.

LG’s StanbyME 2 touchscreen is almost here.

After announcing the funky portable TV at CES in January, LG is now starting to roll it out in global stores. It’s already listed in Canada for CA$1,799 (about $1,169) and Singapore for SG$1,599.99 (about $1,248) with tax included in the prices, and will be available in the US and Vietnam this month, with prices to be determined. After that, the StanbyME 2 will arrive in the UK, Germany, France, and Spain in August.

    Netflix is losing its edge.

Nielsen data compiled by the Entertainment Strategy Guy newsletter shows that Netflix’s original titles have gradually been losing ground to original content from rival streaming platforms, such as Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Apple TV Plus, and Paramount Plus.

While Netflix owned 80 percent of the weekly top ten charts in 2021, that’s now down to 52 percent this year so far — and Disney Plus isn’t doing so hot either.

A chart showing that Netflix originals content has fallen in weekely charts by 28 percent since 2021.
Disney Plus originals are also falling behind, but those weren’t dominating the charts like content from Netflix.

Alienware’s $549 OLED monitor is now available for $549.

There was some concern that Trump’s tariffs would impact the attractive price that Dell announced for its Alienware 27 280Hz QD-OLED gaming monitor earlier this year, but it’s now launched unscathed. A smaller 25-inch 320Hz monitor is also available for $249 if you don’t mind switching the OLED panel for an IPS display.

They didn’t have to jack up the price for the Alienware 27 QD-OLED monitor after all.

    Grok is coming to Teslas.

The xAI chatbot will arrive on Tesla vehicles by “next week at the latest,” according to Elon Musk, who previously said in January that it was “coming soon.” This wasn’t mentioned during last night’s live demo of Grok 4.

Tesla is already struggling with its Musk-associated image problem of course, but it’s not like Grok has had any “politically incorrect” meltdowns lately that could make it any worse.

A screenshot taken of a post Elon Musk made to X about Grok coming to Tesla vehicles soon.
A match made in... well. Lets just see if he delivers on that deadline.
