Instagram has apologized after its auto-translate feature inexplicably inserted the word ‘terrorist’ into Palestine-related bios. “We fixed a problem that briefly caused inappropriate Arabic translations in some of our products. We sincerely apologise that this happened,” a Meta spokesperson told The Guardian.
The issue was surfaced by TikTok user @ytkingkhan (via 404 Media).
