Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram and its Twitter-competitor Threads, has pushed back at criticism from Jack Dorsey and Elon Musk over its algorithmic feed.
“Both Instagram and Facebook have chronological feeds options, so yes, we’re going to bring one to Threads too,” Mosseri said. Here’s hoping you’ll be able to set it as the default, and it’s not hidden away.
A Canadian farmer has just been fined tens of thousands of dollars over a thumbs up emoji. The farmer said he used the emoji to acknowledge receipt of a contract. But the court sided with the buyer, calling the thumbs up emoji “a non-traditional means to ‘sign’ a document.”
After teasing it during last month’s Direct, Nintendo has today revealed that its next eight Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tracks will release on July 12th. Courses include Koopa Cape and Moonview Highway from the Wii game, Daisy Cruiser from Double Dash, Sunset Wilds from the GBA game, and all new Squeaky Clean Sprint. There’s also new characters Kamek and Wiggler.
