What a thrill.

Rumors that Konami plans to remake PS2 classic Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater have been around for years, but an official announcement might be imminent.

Windows Central reports that the remake is happening, with Insider Gaming adding that it’ll be available across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, and could be teased during today’s PlayStation Showcase.

Konami previously announced a remake of its other PS2 classic, Silent Hill 2, last year.

Chip Wars: China Strikes Back.

The Chinese government has warned that “operators of critical information infrastructure in China” should stop buying from major US memory chipmaker Micron.

It’s the latest development in the so-called “Chip War,” which has seen the US and its allies attempt to cut China off from advanced chips. The Associated Press notes that the Chinese government has been reluctant to retaliate so far, to avoid disrupting companies’ access to essential technologies.
