Nothing has ironed out the kinks of its debut pair of earbuds with the Ear Stick. But in the process it’s dropped some of the features that made the Ear 1s competitive.
Transport for London already operates several all-electric bus routes across the UK’s capital.
Previously they’ve had to charge their batteries overnight, but now it’s rolling out a wireless charger on one of its routes that should mean one bus can cover a longer distance over the course of a day. Each top-up takes under 10 minutes, apparently.
Another month, another procedural step for the EU’s USB-C charging legislation. This month it’s the EU Council’s turn, which has now given its approval to new rules mandating the use of the charging port on everything from phones to laptops. But even this isn’t the final step. Individual member states still need to update their national laws.
