Hey, pass me the Bondi Blue charger.

Earlier this month we wrote about Nomad’s sleek charging brick with a transparent housing, but now 9to5Toys has shown us a see-through charger that’s bursting with color. The Case-Mate Fuel-Brites can pump 30W through a USB-C cable, and are built out of a plastic that would’ve looked right at home on an original iMac.

The chargers are currently $24 on Amazon.

Update: I still love seeing the electronics in GaN charging bricks.

    The Amazon layoffs have started.

After reports that Amazon plans to lay off 10,000 workers this week, CNBC and The Washington Post are reporting that some workers there are being informed they will need to find another job with the company soon or accept a severance payment. Neither outlet mentioned how many people were affected today, and so far there haven’t been any companywide notifications.

    From the Post:

Amazon employees were called into meetings with their managers across the country Tuesday, and many were told they had two months to find another job internally or accept severance payment.

YouTube will let you fill Shorts with music.

YouTube is rolling out the ability to add longer songs and sounds to its up-to-60-second Shorts. While you used to be limited to 15-second snippets, you can now use up to 60-second clips from “most songs in its audio library,” according to TechCrunch.

The change also applies if you’re trying to use original sounds from other videos and Shorts.

Are you locked out of Twitter? Let us know.

Just as Elon Musk says he’s going to war on microservices, some Twitter users are claiming they’re not getting the two-factor codes that would let them log into the site.

We’ve tested it, and the system has worked for our accounts, but we’d love to hear from you — if you’re getting an error, email us at [email protected].
