Godzilla Minus One 2 has a name: Godzilla Minus Zero.

For Godzilla Day 2025, Toho has revealed the name of its follow-up to the 2023 flick, Godzilla Minus One, a year after we saw the first teaser for the sequel.

All it seems to confirm is the name, Godzilla -0.0 (Godzilla Minus Zero), and the return of writer/director Takashi Yamazaki.

    Update: Added English title reveal.

Pat Gelsinger’s Christian AI startup Gloo files for $873 million IPO.

The ex-Intel CEO said in a recent speech that he believes Jesus appeared “because of the Roman roads.” Now, his mission is to work on tech that would “...hasten the coming of Christ’s return,” with a startup that filed for its IPO this week.

My question is, does that seem easier or harder than delivering on Lunar Lake and 18A?

    What happened to Intel?

SpaceX proposes a new plan for NASA’s Artemis III moon landing.

Former Real World cast member and current Transportation Secretary / acting NASA administrator Sean Duffy recently said SpaceX was “behind” on its contract for Artemis III and proposed reopening it. (Elon Musk responded with a predictable slew of insults.)

Now SpaceX has a response, but its blog post is missing one thing: the details of this “simplified” approach.

In response to the latest calls, we’ve shared and are formally assessing a simplified mission architecture and concept of operations that we believe will result in a faster return to the Moon while simultaneously improving crew safety.

Google’s restricting its Wear OS Clock app to Pixel watches.

Just as it did with its Weather app for wearables in September, Google has announced that new Wear OS devices from other manufacturers will have to rely on something else. If you have a non-Pixel watch with the Clock app already, it will keep working, but without new updates.

With your favorite watch brands offering their own default clock apps on Wear OS, Google’s Clock app (alarm, timer, and stopwatch) is no longer available for download on Wear OS smartwatches – except for pre-installed on the Pixel Watch.

Google reports its first $100 billion quarter, pushed by Cloud revenue, AI, ads, and subscriptions.

Google’s parent company, Alphabet, just released its Q3 2025 earnings report (pdf), reporting revenue is up by 16 percent from the same period last year, at $102 billion for three months, compared to $88.2 billion in 2024 and $76.6 billion in 2023.

    Sundar Pichai:

Our full stack approach to AI is delivering strong momentum and we’re shipping at speed, including the global rollout of AI Overviews and AI Mode in Search in record time... The Gemini App now has over 650 million monthly active users... And we have over 300 million paid subscriptions led by Google One and YouTube Premium.

Python Software Foundation turns down $1.5 million NSF grant because of the anti-DEI strings attached.

A PSF proposal to address vulnerabilities in Python and PyPi was recommended for funding, but it was declined because the terms barred “any programs that advance or promote DEI, or discriminatory equity ideology in violation of Federal anti-discrimination laws.”

The PSF, which you can donate to here, says it’s committed to the “growth of a diverse and international community of Python programmers.”

The NBA’s gambling problem isn’t over.

Apparently, there’s more going on than just Jontay Porter. ESPN, ABC News, and NBC News report that Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier and Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups have been arrested by the FBI in separate cases, with a press conference planned for 10AM ET.

[Rozier and Jones are] among six people charged Thursday with turning professional basketball into a criminal gambling operation by using inside information to place unlawful wagers, law enforcement sources told ABC News.
