    The future of solid-state batteries could be 3D-printed.

    Solid-state batteries have more power, faster charging, and a longer lifespan than their liquid-ion counterparts.

    California-based startup Sakuú claims 3D printing allows it to fit more battery layers in the same amount of space, boosting the capacity of its batteries.

    It hasn’t 3D printed a full battery yet using its prototype, but check out our video to learn more about how this tech could reinvent the way batteries are made.

    The New York Post has been hacked.

    This morning the New York Post’s Twitter account shared some (even for them) over-the-top headlines, and now the outlet confirms it was hacked.

    There’s no word on who may be responsible for the breach or how it occurred, but it’s worth noting that, like Fast Company, which was exploited to send an obscene Apple News alert a month ago, the Post runs on WordPress.

    Watch Apple execs explain their stance against forcing the iPhone to use USB-C.

    Last night Apple senior vp of marketing Greg Joswiak acknowledged to Joanna Stern that Apple has “no choice” but to follow new EU regulations forcing it to make a USB-C iPhone, but now last night’s event is streaming on YouTube so you can see it for yourself.

    From his perspective, adding regulations will cause e-waste as people have to ditch their existing Lightning gear, even if it means using fewer types of cables overall.
