Like a certain Asus monitor we saw at CES and an LG before that, the new Acer Predator X32 X3 has a dual-mode panel that can do 480Hz at 1080p, or 240Hz at 4K. Typical brightness is just 275 nits, but it can peak at 1,000 — and it offers built-in KVM with 90W of USB-C PD charging, all for $1,200.

How? Where? Did Playdate get all of them back? I just asked the company, and I’ll let you know what we hear.
WoW Dragonflight, WoW Classic and Cataclysm Classic flavors are each represented, and Nvidia says The War Within expansion is on the way. They’re the latest Blizzard Battle.net games to make it to GFN, following StarCraft, Diablo, Hearthstone, and Overwatch 2.
PlayStation’s soon-to-be-co-CEO Hermen Hulst just set the record straight: Sony will indeed publish live service games “simultaneously, so day and date, on PlayStation 5 and PC.”
But not necessarily Sony’s biggest single-player games: he’ll “take a more strategic approach” to those “tentpole” titles. Why?
“We’re finding new audiences that are potentially going to be very interested in playing, for example, sequels on the PlayStation platform.”

I’m the only one outside Asus to have touched one (don’t ask me why!) and Asus wouldn’t let me publish pics that day... but this new leaked image is exactly the device I touched, minus new texturing. The new leak also corroborates a doubled 80Wh battery — and claims it’ll last 3 hours of heavy gaming.
DirectSR (don’t confuse with Auto SR) promises to let devs add the most popular upscalers to their games, all at once, with a single API. There’s no mention of frame gen or specific DLSS versions, but it does natively support AMD FSR 2.2 — so we’re at least getting a decent temporal upscaler right out the box.
Also, check this:
In addition to running super resolution natively on a D3D12 device GPU, DirectSR can also be used to perform super resolution on ML coprocessors, such as NPUs, using the same API surface. This offers flexibility for apps to free up GPU resources, or even take advantage of hardware-accelerated super resolution on available ML coprocessors when the GPU doesn’t natively support super resolution.
