Google is so leaky, you can even see which Pixel features *didn’t* make the cut.

Did you know the Pixel Watch 2 was going to have UWB? Or that the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro would have higher clockspeeds? How about 8K video recording and 480fps slow-mo?

Kamila Wojciechowska and Mishaal Rahman, two of the foremost Android code sleuths, found all of the above and more. Every company’s phones tend to leak these days, but Google is batting some kind of record.

    A leak of Hercule proportions.

Lego has leaked its own Orient Express train set — as part of a truly excellent online catalog of its most detailed sets for adult tastes and budgets. Will those adult tastes extend to murder? It does include a well-dressed man with a walking stick — perhaps Poirot.

Here’s the fan set that inspired it; leaks suggest it’ll cost $300 for 2,540 pieces, and that it may have been delayed to 2024.

You can still add your own SSD to the PS5 Slim — and guess what’s on sale today?

IGN says the slot is still alive, and the best SSDs that fit are on deep discount right now! Examples: a 1TB 980 Pro for $50 or SN850X for $60, a 2TB SN770 for $85 or P5 Plus for $98, or a 2TB SN850X for $100.

Those are Amazon, but Best Buy, B&H and Newegg have the same prices. Note: If you buy something from these links, we might get affiliate revenue.

Imagine if Disney became a big video game company — by buying a big video game company.

It’s a genuine possibility, according to Thomas Buckley’s incredibly juicy reporting over at Bloomberg that’s so chock-full of details about Disney’s CEO we already linked to it earlier today:

Iger’s deputies are pushing him to consider a bolder transformation of Disney from gaming licensee to gaming giant through, say, an acquisition of Electronic Arts. But, as with everything else, he’s been noncommittal.

A Bag End worthy of your Lego Rivendell (and then some).

Thorston Bonsch has been building incredible Lego vignettes based on The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings for years, and he’s now capped it off with an incredibly detailed version of the famous Hobbit-house with the round green door where Bilbo and Frodo lived.

I particularly love the pantry and dining room — can easily imagine them full of singing dwarves! (via The Brothers Brick)

Bambu’s new 3D printer comes with killswitches.

Did you hear about Bambu’s brief 3D-printers-gone-rogue incident and think “never in my workplace”? The new $2,500 Bambu X1E has physical killswitches for its Wi-Fi and (brand-new) ethernet jack, works without Bambu’s cloud, and lets you remove the networking module entirely.

Oh, and it’s got a 4-stage air filter, 320-degree nozzle to print more carbon-fiber-laden filament, and a temp-controlled chamber. Otherwise, it’s an X1C.

Bambu says it can control the temp of the entire chamber up to 60 degrees C for less warping of ABS and PC filament.
