Amazon Luna now unofficially works on Android TV and Google TV.
Artem tried sideloading the APK to his Shield TV on a whim, and 9to5Google confirms the cloud gaming app works on Walmart’s Google TV puck as well.

Steam Free Trials are now a thing: try 90 minutes of the Dead Space remake for free.
I’m not sure why lots of blogs are saying Dead Space is the first — this Dead by Daylight free trial from March was a single Google search away! But it’s definitely a good get for Dead Space, an excellent remake with somewhat unpredictable PC performance. Fewer refunds this way!

Today I learned Google Translate is fueled with the sweat of unpaid volunteers.
The story of a hometown hero who brought Kurdish to Google Translate has a darker narrative lurking beneath: Google apparently doesn’t pay its hardest-working translators.
Not even the poverty wages it pays those who “rate” search results. Not even when translators add an entire language to Alphabet’s private vault! Volunteers are seen as “a proxy for what a paid rater can do,” a former Google Translate engineer admits.
