That’s an overall average — many 4K 60FPS games pull over 160W, and some are well over 180W. You also might be surprised when they’re gulping the juice: pause menus average 137W, far more than cutscenes and loading screens. Multiplayer lobbies average 122W. The company’s working on tools to help/shame developers into lowering those.

Facebook’s former culture of secrecy, in one Zuckerberg email.
Facebook famously provided new employees with a Little Red Book full of propaganda, designed to help establish a productive and secretive culture at the company. Among other things, it contained an email from Mark himself asking a leaker to fall on their own sword.
Now, you no longer have to be an employee to read the “Please Resign” email for yourself.

What gadget should we X-ray?
ICYMI, we’re now sticking our gadgets into a CT scanner that spits out ghostly 3D images of their insides. We’ve got more videos like this Polaroid on the way — but if there’s some small gadget you think The Verge’s audience would love to see scanned, hit me up! I’m at sean@theverge.com.

See inside a classic Polaroid, PalmPilot, and more.
