Help pick Lego’s first official Dungeons & Dragons set.

Lego recruited its own fans to design an official D&D set, and you can now vote on the five finalists by signing up for a free account. Winners don’t just get bragging rights, but also 1 percent of the proceeds!

I’m a little annoyed that awesome Ultra Mimic got snubbed, but I might add an awesome dice tower to my collection.

    Must-have movies.

Everything Everywhere All At Once is $10 at Amazon, and Knives Out is $8 after you press the coupon button — for the 4K UHD Blu-Ray + DVD + Digital sets.

I don’t have to justify my taste here, but I definitely can: Webster said the former “might be one of the most charmingly ridiculous movies you see this year” and was absolutely right. The latter is not only a blast, it’ll set you up for its delightfully indulgent sequel which just hit theaters.

The brand-new Nerf dart-firing Halo Needler is already on sale.

Nobody’s done it right before, this one looks ridiculously cool, and it’s $30 off for Black Friday even though it just came out. Admittedly that still means you’re paying $70 for a prop. Or, you could have it be half of a BOGO deal at GameStop.

If you don’t have that kind of money, you can get the almost-as-cool Halo MA40 Nerf blaster for $32 today, an unheard-of price for a previously hard-to-find blaster.

DreamWorks has Marvel-ified its theatrical opener.

The moon child isn’t going away, and neither is the music — but now, DreamWorks Animation wants to remind you that it has sharks, babies, dragons, trolls, pandas and Shrek in its pantheon of heroes.

THR reports the studio actually had to dust off Shrek and fam! It’s been over a decade since their last outing.

Black Friday, meet The Verge’s StoryStream.

We’ve sorted the best Black Friday deals by category, retailer, and price — but did you know our editors are liveblogging some of the best individual items that catch our eye, too? Like, I just literally wrote about some Severance keycaps, there’s a deal on a rare Halo Nerf blaster, and even one of my favorite Lego sets.

If you refresh our Black Friday storystream, you won’t miss a thing.

I did it: I bought the Severance keycaps.

Drop’s big Black Friday sale includes most of its coolest custom mechanical keyboard sets. I almost couldn’t decide: the two-tone blue Dasher for $79 (save $41) or the /dev/tty set for $89 (save $16)?

I’ve had my eye on Dasher ever since Dan showed the world how they’re basically the keys from Severance, though of course their true inspiration dates back decades. Now, they are mine.

The best deal we’ve ever seen on the best OLED TV for most people.

LG’s 65-inch C1 OLED is $1,196.99 at Amazon right now for Black Friday. It usually costs at least $200 more than that even in the very best sales we’ve seen. Yes, it’s last year’s model but the excellent new C2 isn’t notably better — the C1 has all the flashy features like HDMI 2.1 with VRR and ALLM for the latest game consoles. For so many reasons, this is the sweet spot of TVs.

If you’ve got Amazon’s credit card, it’ll give you 10 percent cashback, too.

Did Sony just goof and reveal the PlayStation 6 is coming in 2028?

Sony’s lawyers say the PS6 is “likely” to launch around REDACTED, and REDACTED is > 2027 if you read between the lines of their anti-acquisition argument below.

But why do Sony’s lawyers think it’s “likely”? Do they have inside info — or just guessed based on the average life of a console? Also, any date greater than 2027 would fit that blank just fine. PS6 in 2032 confirmed!
