Now that both Pixels and iPhones have magnets, here’s my favorite new accessory:

a double-sided magnetic ring grip and stand I don’t have to remove when I use MagSafe car mounts. Or those double magnet rings I introduced you to before, which now serve as stands in my house. It’s from Syncwire, and it ranges from $17-$25 on Amazon. Sound on if you want to hear the satisfying ratcheting swivel!

Nvidia claims Trump had nothing to do with its $5B investment in Intel.

“What sort of involvement did the Trump Administration have in this agreement?” asked the FT’s Michael Acton on the call. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang:

The Trump Administration had no involvement in the partnership at all, and they would have been very supportive, of course. And today I had the opportunity to tell Secretary Lutnick, and he was very excited, very supportive of seeing American technology companies working together.

Apparently Nvidia’s CEO enjoyed drinking cognac with King Charles III.

I’m on the call where Nvidia and Intel are explaining their $5B deal, but the call began with a hot mic:

His majesty was delightful. The cognac was excellent, but just not enough of it. I guess the cognac was from 1912.

What would improve the tiniest Game Boy? Color!

AncientJames, who made computer Lego bricks into actual computers and helped us all run Doom on our Thumbys, has found a great 0.42-inch color screen that perfectly swaps in for the monochromatic original. As you’ll see in the full video, basic soldering is required. Also see: his lipsyncing robot mouth.

Will Valve announce the Steam Frame tomorrow?

r/GamingLeaksAndRumors is abuzz with the possibility — because even though Meta is about to reveal smart glasses with a screen, some VR/XR YouTubers are traveling elsewhere, dropping hints, and one just arrived in Seattle not far from Valve. Valve recently trademarked “Steam Frame,” and leaks suggest VR gear might be ready!

    Palworld 1.0 is coming 2026.

Developer Pocketpair isn’t promising new features just yet — instead, its video sounds like a preemptive apology for the lack of updates you’ll get till then. “It’s no secret that Palworld has a lot of quirks and jank, and we want to take the time to properly address those before releasing the game.”
