Silksong just became the poster child for Windows games on Android.

Remember when the Steam Deck burst onto the scene and validated Linux for gaming in one fell swoop by making your Windows games handheld? Your phone might be next.

Finally, a way to attach Steam Deck or Switch 2 to an airplane tray table.

We’re rather fond of Mechanism accessories around here, and Siri’s latest is something I’ve never seen before: a credible, folding way to attach your handhelds to an airplane seatback without becoming a Reddit meme. Hopefully. $19, shipping today, or bundled with a Magsafe adapter for your phone for $25.

You can now stream GeForce Now at 90Hz to your Steam Deck OLED.

Find Nvidia’s updated Linux app here. In the app’s Settings > Gameplay, set Frame Rate to 90 fps. For best results, I also recommend setting resolution to 3456 x 2160, and running each game at 1440p.

Nvidia also launched its RTX 5080 servers today, but it’s a soft launch:

Intel’s top female leader, products chief, and former interim co-CEO is out.

She didn’t say why, but Intel’s Michelle Johnston Holthaus is leaving less than a year after she got promoted to CEO of Intel Products. (It’s possible cost-cutting Intel CEO Tan threw some of her plans out the window.) The only remaining female top exec is the company’s chief legal officer, The Oregonian reports.

Pokémon Go’s creator is teaming up with satellite companies to make a digital twin of the Earth.

Even before Niantic sold its Pokémon-powered gaming business, it began building a “large geospatial model” for the planet. Now, the Google Earth vets are partnering with defense contractors Aechelon, Iceye, Blacksky and Distance for “Project Orbion.“ It’s early days: attendees tell me they’re figuring out what form(s) it’ll take.

That Hypershell exoskeleton I tried: a new version has nearly twice the range for twice the price.

Half the reason I liked the Hypershell was because it didn’t break the bank, but I’m still impressed the Hypershell X Ultra significantly increases power and range without increasing the weight! $1,999 on September 15th.
