If you updated to the latest Nvidia driver for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III earlier this week, you might have noticed transparency issues in Windows 10. Nvidia has now issued a hotfix driver to fix the problems and address stability issues in Alan Wake 2 and even a Blue Screen of Death crash. You can grab the new 546.08 driver over at Nvidia’s hotfix site, or simply wait on the next Game Ready driver release that will include these fixes.

“This has been one of the most difficult weeks in our studio’s history, as we’ve parted ways with people we respect and admire,” says the Destiny 2 dev team in a blog post today reflecting on the layoffs. Reports suggested Bungie is delaying Destiny 2: The Final Shape to June 2024, but Bungie hasn’t officially confirmed that yet.
“We are intensely focused on exceeding your expectations for The Final Shape. Destiny 2 has more than 650 dedicated teammates pouring all their energy and expertise into delivering this epic moment and its subsequent Episodes.”

That was the message from Apple in an internal strategy document from 2013. It has been revealed as part of the ongoing US v. Google antitrust trial. The document details Apple’s approach to privacy to differentiate from competitors like Google and Microsoft. Apple later went on to make privacy an even bigger part of its marketing pitch in iPhone commercials in 2019, with the “privacy matters” slogan.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III campaign early access starts on November 2nd, and Nvidia is ready with its latest driver update. There’s DLSS 3, DLAA, and Reflex support included for MW3, alongside Nvidia Omniverse getting DLSS 3.5 support with Ray Reconstruction. You can download the latest Nvidia GPU driver right here.
