Nvidia’s GeForce Now streaming service got its first Xbox PC game last week with Gears 5 and now three more are arriving today. Grounded, Deathloop, and Pentiment are all now available to GeForce Now subscribers as part on the ongoing 10-year deal between Microsoft and Nvidia. Microsoft Store support is also coming to GeForce Now in the coming months.
EU antitrust chief Margrethe Vestager held a speech today and discussed why Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard was approved instead of being blocked like in the UK. Vestager says EU regulators diverged with the UK’s CMA over Microsoft’s 10-year remedies to allow rivals to stream Activision games — saying the deals have “significant procompetitive effects.” Vestager ended the speech by discussing fair competition. “That is our Call of Duty.”

It looks like WhatsApp is preparing to launch usernames for its messaging service. WABetaInfo has spotted a WhatsApp username feature inside the latest beta Android app, allowing users to pick a unique username for their account. Hopefully this lets WhatsApp users share their username instead of a phone number, very much like Telegram. We reached out to WhatsApp to comment on the unannounced feature, but the company says it has nothing to share right now.
