Microsoft is adding a Friends & Community section to the new Xbox Home UI. The channel will live on the home screen and provide a quick glance at achievements, game clips, and screenshots that friends or clubs are sharing. It’s part of a bigger Xbox Home redesign for 2023, that has felt too much like an Xbox Game Pass ad so far.

Good luck out there Zelda fans.
I was going to hold out for a next-generation Nintendo Switch, but then Nintendo decided to announce a Zelda-themed OLED Switch. Now I’m sat in a virtual line at the Nintendo UK online store, with 17,627 people in front of me. If you’re also preordering the new Zelda Switch of your dreams, good luck!

Steam to drop Windows 7 and 8 support in 2024.
Valve says it will no longer support Windows 7 or Windows 8 operating systems for Steam from January 1st, 2024. Steam relies on an embedded version of Chrome for some of its newest features, and Google start phasing out support for Windows 7 earlier this year. Future versions of Steam will also require Windows security features only found in Windows 10 and above. Less than 2 percent of Steam users run Windows 7 or Windows 8.
