A Reddit user has managed to get macOS running on a Steam Deck. Using a combination of SteamOS VirtualBox virtualization software, macOS Catalina is up and running on the 7-inch display with performance said to be “normal.” But the animations are laggy according to the Reddit poster, and booting macOS takes minutes. That’s probably down to no hardware acceleration, but hey it’s fun to experiment!

Windows 10 is getting a 2022 Update today. If you’re wondering what’s new I’d love to tell you, but Microsoft hasn’t fully detailed what’s actually new. That’s probably because the update is just designed to fix and improve Windows 10 for commercial customers. With the main focus on Windows 11, there won’t be many, if any, new Windows 10 features anymore.
