Oreo emojis now exist in Microsoft Teams for some reason.

Microsoft has teamed up with Oreo to create limited edition Thins that are branded with Clippy. It’s marketing madness at its finest, designed to promote breaks from back to back meetings in Teams. Microsoft is now forcing its Edge browser on mobile users.

Microsoft has spent the past few years trying to force Windows users into using Edge. It’s now extending that effort to the mobile space where Microsoft can leverage its popular apps. Outlook testers on iOS are now seeing prompts to use Edge when they tap on links in emails. It’s only a test right now, but it’s similar to the prompts found on Windows.

Microsoft is getting rid of annoying background noise on calls.

Voice Focus is Microsoft’s latest Windows 11 feature to remove background audio, similar to how Nvidia, Discord, and others suppress background noise. This impressive demo shows how it uses a dedicated neural processing unit on ARM-based devices to silence everything around you when you’re on a video or voice call.
