Black Myth: Wukong is currently the most played game on Steam with more than 2 million concurrent players. It has already passed the all-time peaks of Elden Ring, Dota 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Counter-Strike 2, and now Palworld. It has become only the third game to beat Counter-Strike’s all-time peak on Steam. The Chinese RPG only launched today, so if the momentum continues it could even top PUBG’s all-time peak of 3.2 million players.

AMD is acquiring ZT Systems, a leading provider of AI infrastructure. AMD is calling it a “next major step” for its AI training and inferencing solutions, in a move that will clearly help it compete with Nvidia’s dominance in AI offerings. ZT Systems will join the AMD’s data center solutions group once the $4.9 billion transaction closes.

While Intel battles to deal with crashing 13th and 14th Gen CPUs, the chip giant is preparing its Arrow Lake generation of CPUs. Benchlife reports that the Intel Core Ultra 200 lineup will launch on October 10th, and feature 14 chips in total. Microsoft is adding a toggle to let you only enable HDR on your monitor when you’re streaming video from services like Netflix or YouTube on Windows 11. It’s a nice change that will mean you don’t have to have HDR enabled all the time and run into issues sharing your screen with others in apps or taking washed out screenshots.
