Microsoft fixed a Windows 11 issue that was blocking the Zune media player’s drivers

The latest Windows 11 Insider Preview build (25905) will make it easier to sync the more than decade-old media device that was the brown alternative to the popular shiny white iPod. Zune had a cult following and most recently scored a posthumous product placement in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy movies.

Microsoft emphasizes Zune remains “totally unsupported and still discontinued,” but the update will eventually be released to all Windows users.

SAE is pushing to standardize Tesla’s plug by year end.

Last month, the Society of Automotive Engineers, a worldwide standards organization, announced its support for Tesla’s North American Charging Standard — a connector that’s garnered support and adoption from almost every charging network and major automaker including Ford, GM, and most recently Mercedes-Benz. According to Electrek, NACS will get an official engineering name too: J3400.
