It’ll be way easier to share Wi-Fi access from Windows soon.

A Microsoft engineer pointed out a nice feature in the October 18th Windows 11 Insider Canary channel build — the ability to share Wi-Fi access using a QR code from the Wi-Fi settings window.

As they point out in a second post, users can also go there to view their Wi-Fi password in the Windows 11 22H2 update — it was only in Control Panel before.

The new 16-inch MacBook Pro supports 140W USB-C fast charging.

MacRumors spotted that the Apple fast-charging support document now says the newest 16-inch MacBook Pro supports USB-C fast-charging with the included 140W Apple adapter and the 240W USB-C cable the company released earlier this year.

Previously, the page said the 16-inch MacBook Pro could only fast-charge with MagSafe.

    Magic: the Authenticating.

eBay’s third-quarter earnings report is in. Buried in all the mumbo jumbo, one line stuck out to me:

During the quarter, eBay authenticated its millionth trading card: a Magic: The Gathering All Hallow’s Eve (Legends) card.

The company got into the trading card authentication game in January last year and added high-dollar cards a few months later. I wonder if this is the card.

    NASA Plus starts streaming tomorrow.

If you’re eager for NASA-produced documentaries and original series or even some good old-fashioned live launch coverage, NASA Plus, which was announced in July, goes live tomorrow, as Space reminds us.

Since it’s NASA, it’s like free ad-supported TV, aka FAST TV, but instead of ads, it’s paid for by your taxes.

...FTST TV? Anyway, here’s a trailer.

    And there goes another one.

Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) is on a roll. ChargePoint recently started rolling out its support for the standard, and Subaru hopped aboard the NACS train, following Toyota / Lexus, and others. Now, Lucid says it’s coming to the party by 2025 in North America.

That leaves precious few holdouts for the Combined Charging System. Pour one out for CCS, my friends. Only be careful. Electricity, and all.
