X gets a fine for not showing its work.

The New York Times reported today that Australia’s government is charging Elon Musk’s platform $610,500 AUD (about $384,000 USD) for not answering all of its questions about how it handles child abuse imagery.

The regulator reportedly didn’t get enough detail from Google either, but while it only got a warning, “X’s lack of a response was more extensive.”

Here’s the official trailer for season 2 of Invincible.

Amazon’s Prime Video announced yesterday that the trailer is now on YouTube after showing it off at New York Comic Con.

It’s not long until the season’s November 3rd debut. But if you’re eager to get your fix (and haven’t seen it yet), check out the 47-minute Invincible Atom Eve episode that Prime Video put up in July.

    Welp.

Humane’s CEO, Imran Chaudhri said in an August video that the company looked forward to “being able to have a special moment” on the same day as yesterday’s eclipse, telling viewers to “look out for that.”

So what was Humane’s special moment? Well, it was a picture of the eclipse. That looks like the company’s logo. I guess we’ll just have to find out more on November 9th.

Google Camera is now Pixel Camera on the Google Play store.

9to5Google spotted the renamed camera app, which is exclusive to Pixel phones running Android 14, last night.

Unfortunately, owners of older Pixel phones won’t get new features like Magic Editor or Pro Controls — those are reserved for the newest phones (with Pro Controls a Pixel 8 Pro exclusive).

Taylor Swift’s concert film is, so far, as popular as Joker was.

Variety reported this morning that Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour came this close to breaking another record yesterday, reportedly notching the second-biggest October box office opening day ever at $39 million.

Joker keeps its $39.3 million October opening day record, while the Venom: Let There Be Carnage first-day take of $37.4 million drops it to number three.

    Swifties are legion.

Turn your crypto into an Italian sports car.

If you were just itching to buy a Ferrari with your crypto stash, that’s apparently possible now. Reuters reported this morning that the company now accepts bitcoin, ether, and USDC BitPay payments in the US and will allow Europeans to do so next year.

Ferrari dealers aren’t taking on any extra risk, though; they’ll receive the payments as traditional money after BitPay converts it.
