Amazon is beefing up Alexa’s capabilities on its Fire TV, adding a slew of new voice-activated features to its set-top box. You’ll be able to launch apps and shows (across 59 content partners including HBO, Hulu, and Showtime), look up local movie showtimes, search for local businesses and restaurants, and ask Alexa to read you a Kindle book.

Alexa was introduced on the second generation Fire TV last year, and made its way to the original version and the Fire Stick back in February. Both will receive the new Alexa features (no word on the Fire Stick though). The company says the features will be rolling out to Fire TVs via OTA updates over the next few weeks.
