USB-C-connected video glasses are a lot of fun if you want to see your games, movies (or just your computer screen) on a large, immersive virtual screen. One of the most well-rounded pairs out there, Xreal’s 1S, has returned to their lowest price yet, costing $399 at Amazon and via Xreal itself ($50 off). The small, yet welcome discount brings them a little closer in price to the company’s $299 xbx A01 Plus, which lack a handful of nice-to-have features that make the 1S a better choice for some people.

The 1S is among the most affordable pairs of video glasses to have three degrees of freedom, letting you anchor the screen to a spot in your room, as opposed to having the screen jolt around with every little movement of your head. Of note, their 3DoF implementation feels less buggy than competitors. They also have much better sound quality than the A01 Plus and most non-Xreal video glasses, plus electrochromic lenses that have adjustable opacity to let in as much (or as little) light as you wish.
Not everyone will have a fantastic out-of-the-box experience with the Xreal 1S’ screen clarity. I’m nearsighted, and I needed prescription lenses in order to see things clearly. This model doesn’t offer hardware-based myopia dials like Viture’s $299 Pro 2 does. The Pro 2’s clarity, for me at least, was incredible without lenses, though that pair lacks most of the premium features of the 1S.

- The latest version of the Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker has returned to $99.99 (originally $149.99) in every color at Amazon, Best Buy, and Target. It doesn’t often go below this sale price, though it has on rare occasion. While it shares the iconic design of past iterations, former Verge audio reviewer Chris Welch said in his 2024 review that this edition is “more than just a lazy remaster.” It includes lossless audio support over USB-C, and its features work natively across Android and iOS. It can work as a speakerphone, and it sports an IP67 rating, granting it robust protection against water and dust. What’s more, it looks nicer than most of its competitors.
- The Sonos Ace Ultra headphones will launch in just a couple weeks, costing $449. It’s how much you’ll have to pay to get wireless headphones that let you swap audio with almost any other Sonos speaker. If you’re alright with the simpler TV Audio Swap feature, its original Ace headphones might be good enough, and refurbished models are almost $200 less than the Ace Ultra. Sonos is selling refurbished (one-year warranty, and in “good as new” condition) Ace headphones for $279 in white or black. Check out our review to see if these sound like a good fit for you.
- Those who have a Steam Deck or a gaming PC and are interesting in some affordable games should check out this Capcom-themed game bundle builder at Fanatical. You can buy any two games in the list for $12.99, or add more to get deeper discounts per game. The assortment includes fantastic titles, like many of the latest Resident Evil games (excluding Requiem or the RE4 remake), multi-game collections from the Ace Attorney, Mega Man, and Devil May Cry series, and more. It’s a good opportunity to get caught up on a bunch of Steam games, or round out your collection with two extras.
