Japanese arcade machines go offline following hack.
Sega Fave — Sega’s arcade-focused subsidiary — says an unauthorized third party accessed its systems, forcing it to suspend the online services it provides across games like Taiko no Tatsujin and Initial D: The Arcade, as reported by Kotaku. The machines will remain offline while Sega Fave investigates the incident.
