Spring cleaning is upon us, which means that now is the perfect time for a tech refresh. If your phone is ready for an upgrade, you’ve got some good options this week. Verizon is taking 50 percent off new phones like the iPhone X and Galaxy S9 when you trade in an eligible phone. If you’re looking for an unlocked, mid-priced phone, the Huawei Mate SE is still at its introductory price of $229.99 ($249.99 MSRP) at most retailers including Walmart, B&H, and Newegg.

You’ll probably want to listen to music while you clean, which means if you don’t have a portable speaker it’s a good time to pick one up. There are some killer deals running on both speakers and smart home devices right now — the Echo Spot is a little bit of both. The smallest Amazon device with a built-in screen usually retails for $129.99 but you can grab it for $20 off through 12:00 AM PST on Sunday, April 8, which is the second lowest price we’ve seen on it. While you’re at it, you can pick up an Alexa-compatible smart thermostat, the Ecobee3 Lite, at a 25 percent discount. The Eufy Genie smart speaker, also compatible with Alexa devices, is on sale for $19.99 (usually $34.99).
