There’s now a banana-shaped version of the Game Boy-inspired Arduboy.
Although it was announced on April 1st, Kevin Bates’ new Banana-Bit is not a prank. It’s an alternate version of the Arduboy featuring six capacitive buttons and three OLED screen sizes: 0.96, 1.3, and 2.42-inches.
It can play all the games currently available for the Arduboy platform, and is the first version of the handheld with a headphone jack. It’s available for preorder from $39 to $59, and expected to ship in May 2025.
