That’s a lot of Xenoblade.

In addition to teasing the next game in the sci-fi RPG series — called Xenoblade Genesis, and launching in 2027 — Nintendo also announced that three past Xenoblade titles are getting enhanced Switch 2 editions. The first is available today, XC2 launches on July 30th, and XC3 is out on December 3rd.

One Piece: Grand Gourmet has you cooking and managing a restaurant with the help of the Straw Hats. I’m not caught up on all 1,000-plus episodes of One Piece, but I think Sanji will forgive me. It’ll be available on the Switch and Switch 2 on October 23rd.

Big Walk is launching on August 4th, and it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.

Based on my demo I got to play earlier this year, the proximity chat-based co-op multiplayer game from the makers of Untitled Goose Game should be a good time. It will also launch on PS5 and Steam on the same day.

Another big RPG is coming to the Switch 2.

Dragon’s Dogma 2, a Capcom game designed for complete sickos (complimentary), is out on Nintendo hardware on October 9th.

Groovy.

Nintendo showed a bunch of new footage of Rhythm Heaven Groove, including a mode where you play RPG-like battles as well as some multiplayer games. Looks great. It launches on July 2nd for Nintendo Switch, and it’s playable on Switch 2 as well.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie crosses the $1 billion mark.

It’s the first film of 2026 to rake in more than a billion dollars, and on a budget of only $110 million. It’s unlikely to be the last movie to cross that threshold this year, however, with two Marvel movies and Toy Story 5 on the horizon.

Minecraft Dungeons II could launch this September.

The Nintendo eShop listing for the game shows a September 29th release date and a price tag of $29.99, as shared by Wario64.

Perhaps this is a Summer Game Fest Live announcement that got pushed a little early; that event is set to kick off at 5PM ET. (We’ll be watching and covering the show, stay tuned!)

The original DK Rap and its N64 game are coming to the Switch next week.

The banger made a cameo in Donkey Kong Bananza, but next week you’ll be able to enjoy the original DK Rap when Donkey Kong 64 comes to the Nintendo Switch Online’s Nintendo Classics collection. However, because it’s an N64 title, you’ll need a pricier Expansion Pack subscription to play.

Nintendo’s new mobile game mixes WarioWare with your own photos.

Pictonico!, launching on iOS and Android on May 28th, looks very weird, but I do think dropping your friends into WarioWare-style minigames could be a recipe for something great.

The game will be free to start with a “demo of some minigames,” according to the App Store listing, and it will have two “volumes” of games you can buy: one for $7.99 and one for $5.99.

How did they make Yoshi even cuter?

Before Star Fox mania descends on the Switch 2, Nintendo has an adorable platformer launching next week. And the new trailer makes it seem like there are going to be lots of strange critters to uncover, including what looks like a weirdo take on Kirby.

The new additions include Space Invaders Virtual Collection, V-Tetris, Jack Bros., Virtual Bowling, and Vertical Force. Of the 22 games released for Nintendo’s first 3D console you can now play 12 of them using the new Virtual Boy accessory for the original Switch, Switch OLED, and Switch 2.

The live-action Zelda movie is now coming out a week earlier.

The new premiere date is April 30th, 2027. Per Nintendo’s X account:

This is Miyamoto. I would like to let you know that the worldwide theatrical release date for the live-action film of The Legend of Zelda has been moved up to April 30, 2027, from May 7. The team is working hard to deliver the film to everyone as soon as possible. There’s less than a year to go until release, so thank you for waiting.

It’s the second release date shift for the film.
