Apple is now a $5 trillion company.

The company closed the day above a $5 trillion valuation, though it has surpassed the milestone six times in intraday trading, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Nvidia also has a market cap exceeding $5 trillion, reaching that valuation for the first time last year.
