Smart calendars can be a boon for busy families that have room for them, but Cozyla’s latest concept is pushing that to the limit if you’re short on space. The 55-inch Cozyla Calendar Plus Max announced at CES is a Wi-Fi-enabled 4K touchscreen display on a wheeled stand, which Cozyla says is the “largest smart interactive hub in its category.”

The size of smart calendars can vary, with some being small enough to sit on a table or desk, while the largest models — like the 27-inch Skylight Calendar Max — are typically wall-mounted. Cozyla’s largest retail model is the 32-inch Calendar Plus 2, which is still substantially smaller than the Plus Max concept if you include the optional floor stand. Even portable displays like LG’s StanbyMe and Samsung’s Movingstyle are more compact, which makes the Cozyla Calendar Plus Max feel like something better suited to classrooms and offices.

Instead, Cozyla is pitching its massive smart display to modern households, where it’s designed to help with managing family schedules, meal planning, video calls, learning, fitness, entertainment, and home security. The Calendar OS supports integrations with calendar apps from Apple, Google, and more, and Cozyla says the Calendar Plus Max will allow users to stream shows and run fitness apps.

It’s so tall that young children may not be able to interact with it.

The device is expected to include speakers, microphones, and a camera, providing support for Zoom, FaceTime, and Cozyla video calls. Cozyla also says the Calendar Plus Max will integrate with “home security systems, cameras, and sensors” to display live feeds and real-time alerts, but the company didn’t specify which smart home platforms or security devices would be supported. Given this is a concept device, the Calendar Plus Max isn’t guaranteed to become a real product that you can actually buy, but I certainly envy anyone who has a large enough home to consider it.
