Most of Belkin’s Switch 2 accessories are designed to either protect or power up Nintendo’s latest handheld, like its Charging Case Pro that actually does both at the same time. Its new multitasking Charging Grip can also add three or four more hours of playtime through an included 10,000mAh battery pack, while improving the Switch 2’s ergonomics with beefier nonslip grips for the Joy-Con controllers.

Belkin’s Charging Grip is now available through the company’s online store in black, lilac, and olive green color options for $99.99. The magnetic 10,000mAh battery sticks to the back of the Switch 2, but since the handheld doesn’t support magnetic accessories natively, you’ll need to use an included protective case to attach it. There’s no wireless charging capabilities on the Switch 2, either, so the battery relies on a short integrated USB-C cable that delivers 30W of power through the console’s top USB-C port. A small screen on the battery shows its remaining charge.
The case doesn’t hinder the use of the Switch 2’s kickstand, and Belkin says the console can still be inserted into the TV dock with the case attached, as long as you remove the battery. The Joy-Con grips can also be used with the controllers detached from the Switch 2, or while they’re docked to the handheld.
