Animatronic flying monkeys are coming to the Sphere’s Wizard of Oz experience.
Ahead of an enhanced version of The Rocky Horror Picture Show debuting next year, the Las Vegas Sphere is adding new 4D effects to The Wizard of Oz, as spotted by The Hollywood Reporter. Starting on September 25th these will include animatronic monkeys that fly through the venue, more pyrotechnics, and additional scents released during key scenes.
