RIP Google Hangouts.

Google has been slowly planning the demise of Google Hangouts since 2018. With today’s removal of the web app, Hangouts is officially dead and will join Google’s ever-growing product graveyard.

Google should have already automatically transferred your existing conversations to Chat for anyone that was still holding out.
