The footage of a Tesla causing an eight-car crash on the Bay Bridge looks bad.
The Intercept got the surveillance footage of the crash that took place over Thanksgiving. In it, you can see the Tesla vehicle changing lanes and then abruptly braking, causing a pileup that injured nine people, including a two-year old child.
Meanwhile, the head of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says they’re “working really fast” on their nearly two-year-old investigation into Tesla’s Autopilot crashes.
