An original iPhone just sold for over 100 times its 2007 launch price.
A factory-sealed first-generation iPhone listed by LCG Auctions sold for $63,356 on Sunday evening, the highest sale figure ever recorded for an original iPhone. At launch, the 16-year-old device retailed for $599.
The price of the first-gen iPhone has exploded in recent years, with a similarly pristine handset fetching almost $40,000 at auction in October last year. Check your drawers!
