I didn’t even know USB-C endoscopes were a thing, but now I’ve got one plugged into my Nintendo Switch 2 and phone! And yes, it also works as a GameChat webcam when you’re not inspecting pipes and walls. Unfortunately, my $10 model is out of stock. Maybe you’ll find a less flimsy one?

Nintendo, Logitech, Razer, Microsoft, Anker, Elgato, Dell, Insta360, Obsbot, Opal — none has answers for us yet, nearly two weeks after the Switch 2 launch.
Thankfully, Reddit’s been crowdsourcing such a list, and we’ve added it to our first-hand testing at the link below! If you know why some webcams don’t work with Switch 2, please drop me an email. Ditto if you know why some HDMI docks and hubs don’t work.
Nintendo Switch 2: Which webcams work?

Just when you thought your hourglasses were safe, Pokémon TCG Pocket has announced a new Eevee-themed expansion that’s scheduled to release on June 26th and seems like it’s going to take a few cues from some of the physical card game’s most sought-after sets.
The Switch 2’s flagship title just got its second patch tonight, following a day-one update for Mario Kart World that enabled the camera and online play.
This new 1.1.1 patch is a smaller update to address glitches that could disable items or controls, or cause the game to shut down suddenly.

Just as the Switch 2 doesn’t play nicely with a lot of webcams out there, the same may be true for USB-C to ethernet adapters, too. I snagged an $12.99 Anker model last week (model A8341), plugged it into the console’s top USB-C, and ... nothing happened. Thankfully, my second attempt, Ugreen’s CM199 adapter, works just fine.
The Switch 2’s dock has an ethernet port, but in case you’re in need of an adapter for downloading games at a respectable speed while in handheld mode, they’re $14.99 at Amazon, or $12.99 if you have a Prime subscription.

Several users on Reddit have spotted a notification that tells them, “Rumble has been turned off due to prolonged use,” as reported earlier by IGN. The pop-up seems to appear during rumble-heavy scenes and gameplay in titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Split Fiction, and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
It’s still not clear why Nintendo added this feature, but it’s possible that it could have something to do with saving Joy-Con battery life.
Vincent Teoh, one of YouTube’s most knowledgeable and thorough TV reviewers, has released a video addressing an issue many Switch 2 owners are struggling with.
If you’re finding Mario Kart World and other titles look washed out when playing through a TV, Teoh explains what’s potentially causing it, what options on your TV may need to be changed, and how to properly calibrate the Switch 2’s HDR settings to make games look more vibrant.
It’s been a couple of weeks since the Switch 2 was finally released into the wild. We here at The Verge have been working hard to bring you a comprehensive review of the console under less than ideal circumstances.
Here’s what we had to say about the Switch 2 Pro Controller and Mario Kart World, currently one of the two first-party Switch 2 exclusive titles. Fortnite got a fresh-feeling coat of paint on the new console and here’s a list of webcams you can use with the Switch 2’s extra USB-C port. And of course, here’s what we think of the actual console itself.
