You might have a hard time getting a Switch 2.

That’s according to a report from Insider Gaming that states US retailers might not have enough Switch 2 consoles to meet pre-order demands. The report also says that pre-orders for the console are set to go live on April 9th, a week after the Switch 2 direct on April 2nd. The Switch 2 is rumored to release in early June and Nintendo has previously said it’s “taking risks” to ensure it can meet demands.

Nintendo’s news app struggled to deliver the Zelda movie info.

Nintendo chose to announce a release window for its live-action The Legend of Zelda movie in the new Nintendo Today! app that only launched 24 hours ago. However, there was enough demand to pull up the brief video clip that Nintendo of Japan had to tweet about the issues.

I haven’t seen the information shared directly via Nintendo’s social media channels on X, Instagram, or YouTube -- if this is how we find out key info about the Switch 2 next week, then I hope it’s up to the task.

It’s been quite a while since there was a new entry in Nintendo’s weirdo life sim series, but it’s coming to the Switch with Living the Dream — though it doesn’t launch until 2026. Make sure to watch the trailer all the way to the end.

Get into the groove.

Rhythm Heaven Groove is filled with a bunch of silly-looking mini-games, where you’ll have to catch ingredients, crush cans, and flap your wings while keeping in time with the rhythm. It’s coming to the Switch in 2026, marking the first new Rhythm Heaven game since 2015.

To start today’s Nintendo Switch Direct, Square Enix let us know what fans have already expected: its making an HD 2D remake of Dragon Quest I and II. Square Enix started its remaking of the Edrick trilogy a bit out of order, releasing an HD 2D remaster of Dragon Quest III first last year. Dragon Quest I & II HD 2D Remake launches sometime later this year.
