Google is making it easier for doctors to track heart data through Fitbit.

Instead of a patient having to export and share Afib data with their healthcare provider, doctors can now access this information from within the Fitbit Web API. According to Google, this could allow hospitals to incorporate patient data into heart health programs, while researchers can use it to inform studies.

Strava’s Family Plan starts at $139.99.

This was announced a while back. (Along with a new Dark Mode which also recently went live.) Basically, four people can now share an annual Strava premium subscription. The caveat is everyone has to live within the same country and you’ve got to be a new subscriber. The new Family plan is available in 32 countries, and pricing will depend on where you live.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra gets FDA-cleared sleep apnea detection.

This is an industrywide first. Fitbit first started working on this back in 2017! It’s not meant to be a diagnostic tool — these features never are. Rather, it’s meant to alert you and encourage you to talk to a doctor.

Samsung wants you to put a ring on it... for sleep.

I got a chance to play around with the Galaxy Ring, but here’s the gist: it’s made of titanium, comes in three colors, has up to seven days of battery life, and will be a really great, discreet way to track your sleep.

The hardware is solid. The ideas are intriguing. So long as it holds up in testing, Samsung could have a winner.

It’s the Apple Watch Ultra, but for Android. Oh, and the Galaxy Watch 7 is here, too.

This GaN charger wears your Apple Watch like a little hat.

Nomad has a new $100 wall charger that, in addition to offering a pair of table-stakes USB-C ports, can also fast-charge newer Apple Watch models.

Yes, that’s right. You slap your watch on top of the 65W plug to charge. Hope your outlets are easy to reach, I guess?

If you buy something from a Verge link, Vox Media may earn a commission.
