Don’t forget about the Overwatch World Cup.

Competitive Overwatch is in a weird place right now, with an unclear future for OWL. But there’s still something to look forward to, with the Overwatch World Cup kicking off right after the BlizzCon opening ceremony wraps up this afternoon. Here are all the details if you want to tune in.

    What’s your ETA?

The opening ceremony for the League of Legends World Championship is usually pretty exciting even if you aren’t into League; last year’s featured Lil Nas X teaming up with a holographic mech (you can watch it below). We don’t know exactly what to expect this year, but the 2023 event at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul will include both K-pop stars NewJeans and the fictional boy band Heartsteel, and it takes place on November 19th at 4AM ET.

    Let’s get tilted.

It looks like Fortnite will be leaning hard on nostalgia in its next season, which is heading back in time with the return of the game’s original map. And as this new clip shows, that includes the classic location Tilted Towers. You can drop in on November 3rd.

    Things don’t look so sweet.

The first season of Netflix’s Sweet Home worked in part because of its focus: it took place entirely within the confines of an apartment building, while a monster apocalypse raged outside. Season 2 expands the scope to the whole world, and it looks plenty gruesome in the latest trailer, which even has its own Carrie moment. The show starts streaming on December 1st.
