The iPhone 15 Pro’s rumored action button sounds pretty useful.

The upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are expected to come with an action button — similar to the one on the Apple Watch Ultra — that replaces the device’s ring/silent switch. But now, we have a better idea of what it might be able to do.

As spotted by MacRumors, code in the iOS 17 beta 4 suggests you can program nine different functions into the action button, potentially allowing you to quickly access the Camera app, turn on the flashlight, launch the Translate app, and more.

AI could soon help you order takeout.

DoorDash is testing a DashAI chatbot that’s supposed to make it easier to decide where to get your next meal, according to a report from Bloomberg. The chatbot will reportedly be able to provide suggestions about food and nearby restaurants based on your query.

Code in the app indicates that you’ll be able to ask questions like: “Can you show me some highly rated and affordable dinner options nearby?” or “Where can I get authentic Asian food? I like Chinese and Thai.”

While DoorDash still hasn’t confirmed this feature, CEO Tony Xu said that the company is “running different experiments internally” in May.
