The developer, who is known in the Roblox community as Simbuilder, was arrested on Saturday. According to a statement given to 404 Media, Simbuilder told US Park Police that he had a firearm in his car.
Roblox canceled the event “due to a potential security concern.”
The feature was apparently spotted in Monday’s Instagram update on iOS. Instagram has been experimenting with a handful of generative AI-related features, including labels for AI-generated content, so it’s not too surprising that AI-created panoramas might be part of Instagram’s feature lineup.

The writing has been on the wall; we wrote a sendoff to the smaller-sized iPhone line last year when the iPhone 14 phones didn’t have a Mini version. But as a mostly happy iPhone 12 Mini owner (who needs battery life, anyway?), I’m still going to be sad if the Minis are officially discontinued.
