Between Asus, Lenovo, and now MSI, it feels like every major PC gaming brand is lining up to compete with Valve’s Steam Deck. MSI’s Instagram teaser for next week’s CES announcement doesn’t give too many hints about the specs or features of its competitor. But it does seem to confirm it’ll have plenty of fan grills and RGB.

As announced last month, today 1 percent of Chrome users will see a notification when they open Chrome on desktop or Android if selected to try Google’s new Tracking Protection feature. VESA will test a monitor’s flicker, jitter, response times, and more, and manufacturers who pass get the appropriate VESA logo to put on the box.
New figures released by the Norwegian Road Federation say 82.4 percent of new cars sold in the country last year were electric, up from 79.3 percent in 2022. Tesla, Toyota, and Volkswagen were the most popular brands, with Tesla’s Model Y making up almost a fifth of new sales. Reuters notes that Norway intends to end the sale of new petrol and diesel cars in 2025.
That’s according to leaker Ice Universe, who warns that the feature is in testing and may not make it to the final phone. We’ve seen 4K 120fps recording on OnePlus and Sony phones in the past, and now Samsung could join them after its launch, which is tipped for January 17th.
Fidelity, an investor that put over $300 million into Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter, now believes the company is worth 71.5 percent less than the $44 billion paid for it, Axios reports. That implies a total valuation of between $12 and $13 billion and includes a drop of 10.7 percent in the month of November alone when Musk told advertisers to “go fuck” themselves.
