Mister Rogers is getting his own YouTube channel.

Until now, Mister Rogers Neighborhood has only been available on YouTube in a limited capacity via the PBS Kids account and sketchy uploads. But now it will have an official home on YouTube thanks to a partnership between Fred Rogers Productions and Little Dot Studios, which has, let’s say, diverse interests.

We’ve got Stranger Things at home.

Now that Stranger Things is overthe main series, anyways — you can finally own the whole thing on disc. Arrow Video is releasing a box set of the complete series on Blu-Ray and 4K UHD, which will be available in July. I hope the collection spans exactly 11 discs.

The MLB creates a distraction from last season’s betting scandal by cutting a deal with Polymarket.

Their partnership, reportedly worth up to $300 million over three years, includes giving Polymarket “access to Official League Data from Sportradar, MLB’s exclusive global distributor of data for prediction markets.”

This is after Emmanuel Clase de la Cruz and Luis Leandro Ortiz Ribera were indicted in November over allegedly rigging bets on pitches.

More on free speech hero Afroman.

I enjoyed this write-up of the Afroman defamation trial, which, by the way, he won. Mike Masnick cuts to the core: the police think they should be able to do whatever they want, including screwing up, without fear of embarrassment.

“The whole point is to make the cost of accountability so high that people stop trying. But Afroman showed up in an American flag suit and explained, calmly and clearly, that he makes funny songs, that these officers raided his house for no good reason, that they broke his stuff, and that he has every right to talk about it.” I think I’ll watch his videos again to celebrate.

A weekend project.

Project Hail Mary premieres tomorrow, and it’s the kind of big, exciting sci-fi movie I’d highly recommend seeing on a big screen. For more on the movie, check out my review as well as my interview with author Andy Weir and screenwriter Drew Goddard about adapting the story for film.

GoldenEye, she found my weakness.

I never knew I needed a full live concert of the original soundtrack from 1997’s GoldenEye 64, but now I can’t live without it. I wish I had seen Cor64 perform this live at LA’s Pauhaus, but the next best thing is watching it on YouTube:

Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics is laying off staff — again.

The studio, which is working on a remake of the first game and a new title and has announced a few sets of cuts in the past 12 months, is laying off 20 staffers, as reported by Kotaku.

Crystal Dynamics says it “remains fully committed to the future development of our already announced Tomb Raider titles.”

An AI-generated Val Kilmer will star in a new movie.

Though Val Kilmer — who died last December — was too sick to actually shoot any scenes after being cast in writer / director Coerte Voorhees’ upcoming film As Deep As The Grave, Variety reports that Kilmer’s estate has agreed to let an AI-generated facsimile of the actor appear in the movie.

How can I make my own kalimba of doom?

Experimental musician and YouTuber Hainbach posted a clip on social media using a humble kalimba to create epic sounds that would make Hans Zimmer jealous. Now he’s explained how to recreate the Earth-shaking drones, but fair warning, it calls for some pretty obscure and expensive gear.

Rick Ellis, a TV reporter, says he turned down prediction market money.

Ellis says he was offered money to use a prediction market’s odds to write “a couple of stories each week,” and it was enough money that it was hard to turn down.“Taking money from a Polymarket to hype their gambling odds on a TV show is ethically the same as taking money from a network to write positive things about their programming.,” he wrote.

Double Fine’s new pot-breaking party game launches on April 23rd.

The new game, Kiln, will also get an open beta on Steam from April 9th through April 11th, according to an Xbox Wire post. It looks like a smashing good time.

This is just to celebrate a hero of the First Amendment, Afroman.

For those of you not familiar, Afroman was raided by the police and then made two music videos (“Will You Help Me Repair My Door“ and ”Lemon Pound Cake”) about it. The officers sued him for using surveillance footage of their raid in the videos. On cross-examination during the trial, Afroman gave a stirring speech on the importance of the First Amendment. He’s also released another video, “Battle Hymn of the Police Whistleblower.”

A tiny tease about Silksong’s big expansion.

Team Cherry released a new patch for Hollow Knight: Silksong this week, and in the update notes, the developers say that it is “intended as the last significant update before Silksong’s upcoming major expansion: Sea of Sorrow.” The free expansion is set to launch sometime in 2026.

Seems like the new Xbox boss wants to earn some goodwill.

Microsoft announced some new features in testing for Xbox Insiders today, including settings to manage Quick Resume per game and more groups on the home screen, and newly-appointed Microsoft gaming CEO Asha Sharma says work started on the updates just “two weeks ago.”

Saros looks like another showcase game for Sony’s DualSense controller.

Housemarque’s previous game, Returnal, used the DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers to great effect, and Saros will take advantage of those features too, as shown in a new trailer. The game is set to launch on April 30th.

Beats and Nike team up for a pair of Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds.

When Victoria Song reviewed the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2, she found a lot to like about their slimmer ear hook and wireless charging, even before their iOS 26 upgrade. Now, Beats is launching this color-splashed collaboration, which is at least bright, even if it lacks the internal hardware updates of Apple’s new AirPods Max headphones.

They’ll go on sale on Nike.com, Apple.com, and other stores on Friday, March 20th, for $249.99.

Ol’ blue eyes.

The first image from Dune: Part 3 isn’t particularly revealing, but it does give a glimpse into Paul Atreides’ new look, which has something of a Sub-Zero vibe. The movie hits theaters in December.

The Subnautica / Krafton story gets even messier.

In the latest update, a judge has ordered Krafton to reinstate former Unknown Worlds Entertainment CEO Ted Gill, saying the publisher violated its contract when Gill and his fellow co-founders were fired last summer. The suit also claims that Krafton CEO Changhan Kim “consulted an artificial intelligence chatbot to contrive a corporate ‘takeover’ strategy” and get out of paying a $250 million bonus.

“It was very difficult trying to come up with something that no one had ever seen.”

Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein won a handful of Oscars last night, including one for best make-up and hairstyling. Last year I had the chance to talk to Mike Hill, who designed the creature from the film, about his relationship with del Toro and all the work that went into recreating the character.
