Last year Netflix confirmed that its long-gestating Assassin’s Creed series was still happening, and now we have further proof of life thanks to a casting announcement. Noomi Rapace, Sean Harris, Ramzy Bedia, and Corrado Invernizzi have joined the cast, though there’s still no word on when it’ll start streaming.
It’s a joke so good half the comments section had to make it, but sad to say it’s the other Sotomayor who dropped Terrence’s album of the week (which, I’m happy to confirm, is indeed a total bop).

This weekend’s Saturday Night Live episode hosted by Harry Styles had multiple bangers and I’ve been really impressed by the writing team over the past couple seasons. But this latest bit on Weekend Update about the social status of emojis felt exceptional. I don’t want to spoil it, but… “RBF: right before the flags” is some of the smartest writing on the show in a long time. This skit took the aerial tramway directly to my own heart.
Co-stars Alan Tudyk, Gina Torres, Jewel Staite, Morena Baccarin, Sean Maher, and Summer Glau are all expected to reprise their roles. So is Adam Baldwin, who was significant in popularizing the antifeminist Gamergate movement, which targeted and harassed women throughout the gaming industry. YouTube performance artist-turned-metal singer Poppy is narrating the English version of an audio-only adaptation of a short story from horror manga master Junji Ito. Ben Affleck’s AI startup, recently purchased by Netflix for around $600 million, has a different approach to gen AI.
Bitwig teased its latest version back in August, and it’s finally here. There are tons of new editing features, like automation clips, which make it easy to create repeating patterns for any parameter. You can also lock projects to a key signature to ensure you never hit a wrong note.

It follows a similar suit filed two weeks ago by New York. Both allege that the loot boxes in games like Counter-Strike 2 are essentially gambling, and the class action accuses Valve of “deceptive, casino-style psychological tactics.”
