Ray-Ban’s original Meta smart glasses are back to their best price.

For the first time this year, you can grab the smart glasses starting at $224.25 ($75 off) at Amazon and Best Buy. Despite being an older model, they’re still fun to use, letting you play music, take calls, and snap 1080p photos and video hands-free. You can even livestream to Instagram or Facebook, or use AI to get real-time translations, which is handy if you’re traveling for spring break.

Samsung’s Z Flip 8 slims down in new leak renders.

The fairly reliable leaker OnLeaks has shared his first CAD renders for the Galaxy Z Flip 8, via MyMobiles, and it looks… pretty much identical to the Z Flip 7, actually. It’s apparently slimmer though, with 0.5mm shaved off when closed, which should make it fractionally more pocketable.

The Flip 8 has the same boxy design and full cover screen as its predecessor according to this leak.
While it’s apparently going to be thinner when folded, it will be about the same thickness when open.
Samsung’s foldables normally launch in July, so expect to find out more then.

Adobe’s ‘computational photography’ camera app is now available for the iPad.

After adding support for the iPhone 17 and its square sensor selfie camera last November, Adobe has updated its Project Indigo camera app to support the iPhone 17e and iPads with at least 6GB of RAM. But Adobe warns that “Project Indigo is not yet tuned for iPad operation” and suggests sticking with an iPhone for an “optimal experience.”

Huawei’s next flagship phones are going big on gradients.

The Pura 90 series will launch in China on April 20th, and the phones will be decked out in a series of colorful gradient finishes. GizmoChina has images of the full line of Pura 90 Pro and Pro Max colors, but I’m a fan of this sunset Pro Max Huawei has teased on Weibo.

‘Hey, you guuuuuys!’

I recently watched The Goonies for the first time a couple months ago (yes, I’m late!). Instead of renting it digitally for $5, I should have just ponied up $12.47 for the 4K Blu-ray version at Amazon so I can watch the all-star cast (young Josh Brolin, Ke Huy Quan and Sean Astin) and Sloth as many times as I want.

It just rolls off the tongue.

Yesterday we found out the price of the new AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition, the real name of a real product that I guess buyers are expected to learn.

You can rewatch the Artemis II launch in glorious 3D, thanks to the Nintendo 3DS.

While thousands of smartphones and cameras were trained on the sky on April 1st capturing the historic launch of Artemis II, Redditor Cambot72 recorded it on a Nintendo 3DS XL. The 0.3-megapixel footage has some retro Apollo vibes, and you can download the original version to watch in 3D if you’ve still got a 3DS.
